Finding an Organization or Service

Using the neighborhood guide index you can find organizations in Dorchester five different ways:
1) clicking "view all" will produce an alphabetical listing of ALL the organizations in the database.
2) clicking any of the categories in the "services", "population served", or "neighborhood" sections will produce an alphabetical listing of organizations that provide services in that area.
3) clicking the "map" link located beside a category will produce a map of the organizations that provide services in that area.
4) select several categories at once using the checkbox located to the left of the category name. Once you have selected the categories, click "list" or "map" at the bottom of the page. This will produce a map or list of organizations that match ALL of the categories you selected.
5) you can search the guide (and the entire site) by using the search box in the right hand column. The advanced search function provides several ways to focus your search.

Posting a Guide Entry
If you've registered and are logged-in to the site, you can contribute a guide entry. You should be an authorized representative of the organization about which you are posting. The process is a simple! Once you have posted a guide entry, you will receive an email every 6 months asking you to review and update your entry.
