- The Neighborhood Guide can help you find groups and organizations in the neighborhood that are offering services that you need or engaged in activities that you care about. (more)

You can connect with existing neighborhood groups and mobilize and organize your neighbors to address issues that are important to you and your community.
- Get in the guide! Completing a guide entry (example) for your organization is a great way to get the word out about what you are doing! (more)
- Post your events on our community calendar. If you work with a neighborhood organization, you can post events on the community calendar. The SCI calendar is sydicated which means that the content can be redistributed on your organizations' website and subscribed-to by members of this site. (contact us for details)
- Recruit. When you post events on the calendar, the RSVP function enables you to send email notificaitons to people about your event. (more about the calendar and RSVP)
- Announce programs and activities for youth and families or advertise employment, volunteer, and training opportunities on the Dot Doard. (more)
- Blog! If your group doesn't have a web presence, an SCI weblog is the answer. It's a great way to start organizing. It's easy to update and people can subscribe to your blog to receive updates via email... so your blog can act as a website and an email list! (more)
