I teach piano and am looking for new students, especially adults. I have played since a child. Recent formal education at UMass./Boston and New England Conservatory. I also play violin and hand drums. My main interest is jazz but I teach traditional basic piano at low rates. First lesson free, just to get to know each other. I also love to play for special events, dinners, church services, background music. Wide reportoire of jazz and light classical pieces.

I am an SCI AmeriCorps member and I am giving a year of service as Outreach and Technology Coordinator.

MISSION Greater Four Corners Action Coalition works to promote neighborhood stabilization in the Four Corners Community of Dorchester, Massachusetts. This is accomplished by adressing the issues of crime and safety, through organizing residents, providing positive opportunities for youth, promoting economic development and collaborating with others. Our priority roles are: Organizer, Service Provider, and Collaborator/Supporter of other efforts. GFCAC is in the forefront of the change in local community organizing. Organizations are collaborating to effect regional planning and create standing policies so as not to have to put out the same fires over and over again. Our current work reflects this new direction. We also aim to address issues of transportation, environmental and economic justice. I'm the supervisor of the outreach team for the Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan. We share information about our plan (our services, provider network, and general wellness). Most importantly, we share information on obtaining health insurance through MassHealth and Commonwealth Care. We even bring giveaways to make it a little fun. We're available to organizations or events who made need us so please stay in touch.

My family lived in or around Dorchester since the 1860's,ever since they came from Ireland or scotland. But since I no longer live in Mass. no longer, I do find myself reminising about Boston, Dorchester, and of course Southie.
