Teens ages 12-16 are invited to apply
for paid positions with the Park Patrol Internship program, run by the
Boston Project Ministries in the Norfolk/Elmhurst/Talbot area.
 
The Park Patrol Internship Program is
an environmental leadership development program for young people ages
12-16.  The program is 7 weeks in length (June 30 - August 14) and
meets Tuesday through Thursday afternoons.  There are a few
additional special events outside of this schedule that participantns
are expected to attend.  Youth who successfully complete the
program will receive a program certificate and a summer stipend of $600.
 
There are 10 slots available for the
Park Patrol Internship Program.  Additionally, 5 youth registered
with the City's HopeLine may be placed in this program.  Young
people must complete this application and be interviewed by staff prior
to being accepted for this program.  Upon acceptance, youth will
need to have a completed medical form on file.
