The84 – Massachusetts’ youth tobacco prevention movement managed by The Medical
Foundation – is seeking 6 bloggers (one blogger from each of 6 regions in the state) ages 14-
17. Bloggers will be responsible for submitting a blog of approximately 300 words every week for
posting on The 84’s website, www.the84.org. Bloggers will participate in 2 to 3 meetings (online
or by phone) throughout the year when blog ideas will be discussed. Commitment is one entry a
week from September 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009. Bloggers can work from home and do not need
to come to The Medical Foundation’s office. Bloggers will be compensated at $18/entry.
The84 is a youth-led online movement in Massachusetts to promote tobacco-free lifestyle.
