Description:

A great opportunity to engage children ages 6-10 in fun, hands-on science activities during afterschool! All materials and training are free . The Intercultural Center for Research in Education (INCRE) is seeking applications from after-school programs throughout the City of Boston that would like to use the award-winning Sunflower science discovery curriculum.

*Sunflower was developed through a grant from the National Science Foundation and is endorsed by the US Department of Education.

*Receive a free box of materials worth over $500 for your program, including lights, magnifying glass, wall posters and other goods to run fun science experiments.

*Program staffs are not expected to be science teachers and know a lot about science. This is a VERY user-friendly and kid-friendly curriculum.

For questions or an application, please call John Zuman at 781-643-2142 or email him at jzuman@incre.org . Applications will be considered on a first-come basis.

Next Training Opportunity is February 7, 2008! read more »
