It's time for bargain hunters and treasure seekers to come and enjoy a wonderful community event! The Ashmont-Adams Neighborhood Association annual yard sale is happening on October 1, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (rain date Sunday, October 2).

Dorchester Park Weekend, Sep. 23, Sep. 24 & Sep. 25

CarInterested in a full weekend of fun at Dorchester Park? Enjoy an evening of fine dining, cocktails, live music and dancing under the stars at Dorchester Park on Friday, September 23. On Saturday, September 24 there will be a pancake breakfast at Dorchester Park and activities for kids. On Saturday evening there will be a concert with the Dorchester Symphony Orchestra, Ashmont Hill Chamber music, and Boston City Singers. Annual Neighborhood Block Party, Sep. 11

Block PartySay farewell to summer and say hello to your neighbors! Enjoy a full afternoon of family fun. Join this Block Party on Van Winkle Street in Dorchester. A DJ will provide music and entertainment. Food and beverages will be served. The block party will go from 1 to 4 p.m. The block party is free and all are welcome!

AANA Hosts Free Diabetes Screening, Apr. 7

Ashmont Adams Neighborhood Association gives back to the community: for its April 7 meeting, the association will sponsor a free diabetes screening (held by Carney Hospital) at 7 Fredericka Street, Dorchester, MA from 6:15 p.m. on. This screening is open to the public. For more information, you can email info@ashmontadams.org.  

The entrance to 7 Fredericka Street (Plasterer's Hall) is on Minot Street, after the 4th house on the right coming from Carruth Street. Look for the black iron fence. The door is at the rear of the parking lot.

Mission: 

To encourage a sense of neighborhood and community spirit and to facilitate interaction among residents. To facilitate cooperation from various government departments in order to improve services provided to the AANA neighborhood. To work toward the establishment, maintenance and improvement of our neighborhood by encouraging civic participation in all phases of community affairs; and To work with nearby neighborhood associations to foster open communications and support the betterment of the entire Dorchester community.
